Midland / South Beach

South Beach is a neighborhood on the East Shore of Staten Island, New York City, situated directly south of the Verrazzano-Narrows Bridge.

Midland Beach (formerly known as Woodland Beach) is a neighborhood of Staten Island in New York City. It lies along the east-central coast of the island, in the area known locally as the “Mid-Island, Staten Island” or the “East Shore”.

Just a ferry ride away from Lower Manhattan, two of Staten Island’s sandiest neighborhoods, South Beach and Midland Beach, offer fun in the sun via a 2.5-mile boardwalk. In addition to plenty of room for sunbathing on the shoreline, the neighborhoods possess the Ocean Breeze fishing pier, one of the largest in the City, as well as a small beachside amusement park.
